Agata is designed around private journaling and controlled cloud sync. This page summarizes how Agata Web handles account and website data.

Data we process

• Account details such as email address, display name, plan, and profile image.
• Optional cloud sync categories you enable, such as Daily Wraps, insights, favorites, chat data, and profile image.
• Community profile information if you use community features.
• Consent timestamps and legal document versions accepted during registration.

Local-first journal data

Audio recordings and original journal text stay local in the app unless a feature explicitly uploads or syncs generated content to Agata Web/Supabase.

Your controls

In profile settings you can control cloud sync categories, privacy and visibility, communication preferences, data export, cloud data deletion, and account deletion.

Communication

Product-update emails are only enabled when you opt in. Account, billing, security, and essential service emails may still be sent when needed.
